Greg Scott

About Me

I am from Houston and graduated from St. Thomas High School. I enlisted in the service and became an Army Ranger. After my service I moved to Corpus Christi where I graduated from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. My family and I moved to Nacogdoches in 2003 where I pursued my passion for history at SFA and received my teaching certifications in History, Social Studies and Business Education. I graduated from SFA with a Masters in May 2019. I began teaching at NHS in 2013 and have taught AP World History, Pre-AP World Geography, World History and World Geography. In 2016 I became the assistant coach of girls soccer and assistant coach of cross country. I am currently the assistant coach for boys soccer and cross country.

I am married with 4 children and all are currently in college, the oldest is completing his masters at SFA and the youngest is completing his last year at UCLA. My hobbies include spending time with my family, playing soccer, reading history, specifically military history, and collecting historical relics.
