Provide basic referral information to VR staff who will determine with the individual whether he/she should apply for VR-eligible services or pursue Pre-ETS services only

Student and guardian (if applicable) will complete the VR application paperwork. Paperwork may be completed in person, electronically (DocuSign) or sent in the mail.

VR staff will obtain disability-specific information and determine whether or not the student meets the VR eligibility criteria.

*Note: if needed, VR may sponsor updated psychological testing

Assessment of student's experience, interests, skills, abilities and barriers to employment.

VR staff work with the student and their family/other service providers to identify a job goal and develop an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) to achieve that goal.

VR will monitor progress, making sure students receive the services they need to succeed.

Once a student is hired, VR will make sure they have the support they need to keep working.
