English as a Second Language (ESL)

Welcome to ESL at Holly Shelter Middle School! 

My name is Ms. Mayes and I am the English as a Second Language Teacher. I teach students who come to the United States from other countries as well as students who were born in the United States but have learned another language before learning English.

This will be my 7th year teaching at Holly Shelter. I love getting to know my students and helping them have a good middle school experience.
