Hi! I am Mrs. McRae a High School Math Teacher at NHHS. I graduated from UNCW as a NC Teaching Fellow for my undergrad and completed my Masters online at NCSU. I am in my 10th year teaching High School Math. I have taught all levels of Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3 as well as AFM. I previously taught for 8 years at West Brunswick High School but am super excited to start my second year as a New Hanover Wildcat! I am passionate about encouraging collaboration and student discourse as well as fostering an environment in which student thinking is at the forefront. 

I married my Husband Thomas, pictured, in June of 2022 and we have a cat, Flash and a dog, Trout.  I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising, and spending time near the water.
