About me
I was born and raised in the beautiful Asheville, NC. I came to Wilmington in 2000 to attend UNCW, and graduated in 2004 with a double major in Economics and Business Management. It wasn’t until later in life while tutoring children in my spare time at a local community center that I found my love for teaching. So - I again attended UNCW and obtained my teaching licensure in 2011. My family and I have lived in the OBX - Outerbanks, NC for the last five years, and we finally made the decision to move back to Wilmington this summer. We are thrilled to be back HOME in the Port City! I have been teaching for 10 years, and this will be my 5th year in first grade. I am excited to be a part of the Masonboro Elementary Family & ready for a great year !!
