Hi, I’m Ms. Kerr, and I’ve been teaching for 8 years at New Hanover High School, a place I truly love with my whole heart. I teach Foundations of Math 2 and Math 2, and I’m passionate about helping students grow both academically and personally.

In my classroom, math is more than just numbers and formulas—it’s about problem-solving, perseverance, and building confidence. My goal is for every student to know they always have someone in their corner who believes in them, supports them, and cares about them.

This website is designed to provide general course information, such as the syllabus, classroom policies, and general school information. Canvas is the primary platform students should refer to for daily class materials, including notes, assignments, due dates, and announcements. Together, this site and Canvas will help keep everyone informed and organized.
