School Tardy Policy
No passes given during the first and last 15 minutes of class.
No passes given to unexcused late students.
Teacher MUST make contact with the parent on the 2nd tardy to class.
3rd tardy will result in a referral to the Dean’s office/no additional conversation with the student is needed. One week of lunch detention in the Dean’s office.
Cell Phones and earbuds should not be seen or heard, unless you are using them for an assignment. Protocol for taking a cell phone/electronic device:
I will ask the student for the phone and place it in a safe place and return it to the student at the end of class.
IF the student refuses: After class, I will let the Dean know. He will find the student and collect the device and hold it until the end of the day.
If I continue to have an issue with devices in class, she will contact the parent and let admin know of the issue.
