I grew up in Cary, North Carolina (the Heart of the Triangle!) and attended college at UNC Asheville, where I studied literature and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views. I earned my teaching license soon after graduating and am looking forward to another year of teaching students on their way to High School!

A few fun facts about me: my favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, I have a sweet (and very silly) Dachshund named Scout, and I’m a HUGE Carolina Hurricanes hockey fan—which makes it extra fun that we are the Holly Shelter Hurricanes!
