Mrs. McNair

Mrs. McNair began teaching in the New Hartford Central School District in 2001 and she's excited to be teaching 6th grade at Bradley Elementary School again this year!  A graduate of New Hartford High School (Class of '97), Mrs. McNair returned home after earning her BS in Elementary and Special Education at SUNY Geneseo (Class of '01).  In addition to Bradley Elementary School, Mrs. McNair has taught at both Hughes and Myles Elementary School and has experience teaching special education, 4th, and 5th grades.  This will be her 9th year teaching 6th grade!  Earning a MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the University at Albany (Class of '04) has come in handy as circumstances around our world have pushed us all to use technology more often.  When she's not at Bradley teaching, Mrs. McNair likes to run, meditate, and read.  Whenever she can, she prefers to spend time in nature, especially the Adirondacks, and is actively working to identify ways she can deepen her commitment to becoming anti-racist.  Mister McNair is also a teacher at New Hartford (high school science) and her sons (Jack & Finn) are students at New Hartford, too!  The McNairs are swimmers, gardeners, lovers of popcorn, and life-long learners who find their dog, Luna, to be a faithful companion, and their 11 chickens to be a source of not only fresh eggs, but lots of entertainment.
