Our Goal
The Sophia Crew '22 has been working and learning the last few months to form a project that helps their community. Their community project is to collect donations to help the homeless. The students are working together to organize drives at their respective schools. They then bring together their donations that will be sorted and put into bags to give to individuals. These bags will be delivered to the Fond du Lac Solution Center where they will be distributed.
Items Needed
Some of the items being collected are body wash or bar soap, bottled water, chewing gum, deodorant, feminine care products, floss, laundry soap, mouthwash, protein bars, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, and vaseline. These products can be full size or travel size. Products, like shampoo, that are specially formulated for children or different ethnic backgrounds are accepted as well.
When to Donate
Lomira High School is holding their drive from March 7th until March 18th. Campbellsport, Fond du Lac, Laconia, North Fond du Lac, and Saint Mary's Springs Academy are all holding their drives from March 14th until March 25th. Finally, Winnebago Lutheran Academy is holding theirs from March 20th until April 1st.
