Q2 2019 was definitely slower for us, mainly because there was a lot happening in our personal lives so everyone was gearing down. But on the plus side this did give me an opportunity to take a lot of time to look introspectively for both myself and my startup company.
In the past few months one of our goals was to get ourselves out there and attend more events; one so we can get better brand awareness, and two with the goal of bringing on talent. Just to rattle off a few that I remember off the top of my head we attended the OCE Discovery tradeshow, a showcase at Seneca, several PitchIt events, HealthTO and more. In this coming quarter I hope to attend more in the never ending quest of conquering my fear of talking to people, I know, not a good quality to have for an entrepreneur.
Some more things that we did was get our act together with social media, I did some research and signed us up for some tools to help consolidate and manage our accounts. Now it’s just a matter of putting in 20 minutes everyday to get a post together, even though I’m 22 and this should be my wheelhouse, it’s pretty foreign.
Over the next three months we’re planning on closing a couple of pilot programs with institutions, completing development of our consumer app, creating our Shopify website, and concluding our pre-seed funding.
If you want to stay up to date on what we’re doing and employment opportunities give us a follow on our social media accounts, as we’re going to be active on there.
Thanks for reading whoever you are you bored soul,
