NFC Tag Method

For Android phone users...

Step 1

Ensure you have an internet connection through Wifi or data usage.

Step 2

Ensure NFC is enabled by navigating to your settings, under connections or more there will be NFC and/or Android beam, ensure they both are enabled if possible.

Step 3

Hold the bracelet face against your phone.

Step 4

If it doesn't work in seconds you may need to remove the bracelet from the victim and expose the NFC tag, underneath the QR code ID.

Step 5

Tap the link that appears (starting with https://NexusHealth.ca/)

Step 6

If it does not redirect you to the patient's profile you can try again or attempt the QR method .

For iPhone users...

Step 1

Ensure you have an internet connection through Wifi or data usage.

Step 2

If you do not have an iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR then you need to download an app to have NFC functionality. We recommend our Nexus Health App.

Step 3

Hold the bracelet face against your phone and press "scan".

Step 4

If it doesn't work in a few seconds you may need to remove the bracelet from the victim and expose the NFC tag.

Step 5

Tap on the link that appears (starting with https://NexusHealth.ca/)

Step 6

If it does not redirect you to the patient's profile you can try again or attempt the QR method.
