We need to get everything ready so our students can dive into this stylish and vibrant educational adventure, seamlessly blending beauty and fashion from around the world.
Let's make sure they can sparkle and shine as they explore the diverse world of global fashion, just like Barbie does! With all the right materials in place, our students will be fully immersed in this innovative program, unlocking their creativity and embracing the magic of fashion diversity. Time to get our Barbie spirit on and make this experience absolutely fabulous!
The "Exploring Global Beauty & Fashion Diversity with Barbie®" Experience is a middle school fashion design curriculum that examines how Barbie® contributes to an understanding of inclusive beauty and fashion from diverse cultures and ethnicities. By using Barbie® as an educational tool, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the diverse spectrum of beauty, promoting inclusivity and cultural appreciation. This curriculum highlights the importance of disability, color, size, cultural, and gender inclusivity, encouraging students to explore how perceptions of beauty and fashion impact diversity and self-expression. Through hands-on projects, students will design fashion dolls and create a mock-up fashion magazine, fostering empathy, creativity, and a holistic understanding of beauty and fashion across different cultures.
