Dear families,
This week has been triumphant for the children and teachers in Year 6. The national SATs tests have been completed and whilst we will not know the scores until early July, what we do know is that each and every child has done themselves proud. They enjoyed an afternoon at the park to celebrate and from Monday they will be beginning to think carefully about the transition to their new schools.
The rest of the school has been making great progress with their geography topics, including year 4 who completed a local field study and year 3 who explored the exhibits at the Museum of London, Docklands.
Looking ahead we have some important events for the children this half term, which can be found here. In the second part of the summer term we will be teaching Relationships and Sex Education, using our agreed upon approach, and the materials from the Jigsaw scheme of work. All families are welcome to attend school to find out exactly what will be taught in each year group-
