A message from Mr. McGrath

Dear families,

We are so pleased to have the Early Years Foundation stage back in school- see below for some heat warming pictures of their return.

School is busy this week with important meetings for the teachers. Staff are meeting together with colleagues from across the New Wave Federation to coordinate and plan the curriculum for after the half term break. Staff in Shacklewell are also sitting down with Ms. Medhurst our SENDCo to discuss additional provision for those children who require it. Remember that if you have any concerns about your child's learning or behaviour you can contact the school office to ask to speak with your child's teacher.

Today I had the privilege of meeting with the co-chairs of Shacklewell Families to discuss their plans for the year ahead. Whilst it may not be the traditional year of events, they definitely have some exciting ideas. New families, including those in the Reception keep an eye on the book bags this week as we will be sharing more details on how to get involved with this fantastic organisation. This week it is the first full meeting of Shacklewell Families- remember all members of the community can take part so please do not hesitate to join the Zoom call at 8.00pm on Wednesday evening. Please email info@shacklewellfamilies.com if you have any questions.

Have a great week,

Rory

Events from across the school

We are delighted to welcome our children back to the Early Years Provision. The children in Caterpillars, Butterflies, Aqua and Sky class have had a great day with their friends and teachers. It has been fantastic to have the whole school community back together. The children settled back in so well- it is like they have never been away.
