The Eastside Cheerleading Program hosts tryouts in March/April each year. To see the specific tryout information for the upcoming school year, visit our Tryout Information page.
Eastside Cheerleaders are student-athletes who are expected to uphold the highest standards. Cheerleaders must be dependable, responsible, cooperative, disciplined, enthusiastic, and committed to spending time with their squad while working to improve their own skills. Disrespect of ANY kind does not reflect the image we encourage within our program and will not be tolerated. Eastside Cheerleaders are leaders and must conduct themselves as such both ON and OFF campus; both IN and OUT of the classroom. It is a privilege to participate in athletics at Eastside, not a right.
Additionally, Cheerleaders must meet the requirements set by Georgia High School Association and Eastside High School for participation in athletics.
Cost is dependent upon which team(s) the cheerleader is on. For a breakdown of cost and payment schedule per team, please review the 'Estimated Cost' section of the Tryout Information Packet for the upcoming season and review the 'Payment Schedule' for the upcoming season on the Make a Payment page.
Throughout the season, cheerleaders will have multiple opportunities to participate in fundraising efforts to help in supporting families in the cost of participation in cheerleading. If you have additional questions about cost or fundraising, please contact our Coaching Staff.
Please feel free to reach out to our head coach or the coach for the team that you have a specific question for. All contact information for our coaches can be found on the Coaching Staff page here on our website!
If you contact a coach, please allow at least 24 hours from your time of contact for a response.
If you have any questions after teams are chosen, please contact our head coach to set up an appointment. DO NOT contact a coach regarding decisions about team selection until after Spring Break.
