Pre-Approved Materials

The materials found on this site have been tested by Ceramic & Wet Shop staff and are pre-approved for student use, meaning there is no need to fill out our Outside Materials Form prior to bringing these materials in.

The rules are simple, upon purchasing the material retrieve an "APPROVED" sticker from the Technician Desk. This sticker must be prominently placed on the material; include your name and the approval date on the sticker as well. 

HEALTH & SAFETY : Remember, each material has specific health and safety requirements and precautions outlined by the manufacturer. Please review this information prior to use. PLEASE speak with a technician if you have any questions regarding this.

If you want to bring a material into the shop that you do not see included here, you must submit an Outside Materials Form. A notice of approval or rejection will be issued via email; this can take up to 48 hours.

This list is ever evolving, and will be updated regularly to reflect new materials tested by Ceramic & Wet Shop staff.
