I am designing a public information distribution tool that provides neighborhood-specific recommendations for adventurous tourists and hometown explorer. Through a slot machine mechanism, it randomly generates three pieces of information: food, event, and fun fact based on the location. The user then has the option to purchase a foldable viewer postcard that leads them to explore more about the “fun fact” they just learned.

Zhan Shi (Vicky) is a passionate, curious designer. She likes to find ways, whether big or small, to make the world a better place. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s in Architecture, she now continues her studies in the MFA Industrial Design program at Parsons School of Design.
