Steps of Making
My capstone speculates a design practice founded in the handshake. Using the principles of the agrarian lifestyle as a springboard, every aspect of the design process is given traceable. By considering every step of production, or rather, learning-by-doing, this practice urges creativity by being bound only to the resources available at a handshake’s distance away. The felted wardrobe, being the object birthed from this practice, will evoke the origins, processes, and the principles in which it was made.
