Goals of New School Firsts for the 2023-2024 AY
- Enhance a first-generation support presence for students at the university by increasing the faculty and staff support to at least 20 overall people. Host a minimum of 4 events specifically for first-generation students covering topics from mental health, support services, belonging, an academia.
- Create a campus directory that houses all staff and faculty committee members along with their areas of support for students. Host 2 mentorship workshops with first-generation support directory members and students.
