10 Form Reps End of year recap video

This is arguably what I am most proud of last year. It perfectly sums up the number of events year 10 participated in, many of which were run by the form reps. What I am most proud of is the number of events that got mentioned - often, recap videos often miss out some events, but we included pretty much everything. It received great student feedback, and was part of my mahi as year rep (YR10, 2023.) I worked with the class reps who recorded many of the clips you'll see.

As Year Rep (YR10, 2023,) I was responsible for planning and coordinating the junior disco. It was very successful and entirely planned by the class reps I oversaw. It had some of the highest levels of student turnout.

10TCD Culture Rush 3D Platform Game Assessment

I was tasked with coding a platformer game that included aspects from my culture. I decided to cover over the legend of Maui discovering fire, whilst using the stereotypical traditional Maori dress. I made all of the graphics myself, and was assisted by tools to make the audio. It was coded with GDevelop.

9ENG Public Speaking Assessment

I was struggling to find the topic for this speech - I knew I wanted something great, but picking the right topic was arguably the hardest part. It was at the end of class, where I received a spam email claiming I had an inheritance waiting - Ms Matthew jokingly suggest I wrote about this, and I was hooked.
The speech was a success, winning the year nine speech comp, and receiving great student feedback.
I also received top marks as permitted by the marking scheme.

9SST Migrant Enquiry

Last term, our assessment for social studies was to interview a migrant from another country. I chose to interview Melissa Lee MP. The task required me to write about detailed push and pull factors of her migration, in addition to changes about her life style. I was very pleased to get an excellence mark.

Last term, one of our projects for English was to retell the legend of the Pouakai, I was really pleased with how it turned out. I illustrated the majority of the story while the others wrote.
