Social Navigators Programs
Using the curriculum of Social Thinking® by Michelle Garcia Winner, these short-term groups cover the methodology of teaching various social tools for children with autism spectrum disorder a way to navigate the complexity of dealing with others in the world around them. The groups also provide an opportunity for children to interact with other children just like them, and to engage in a positive social interaction that can lead to friendships. The hope is that the children get to know each other and build connections, boosting their self-esteem and confidence in learning how to be in social settings.
