NCS Virtual Art Exhibition 2020

What a year! At one time or another, every single student at NCS has walked through the Art Studio door either for regularly scheduled class, looking for supplies for an assignment in another class, hoping for direction on how to create something they saw on Pinterest or otherwise. I have been blessed with being the "keeper of the magic" that is the Art Studio at NCS for 10 yrs now and have been able to watch students develop from finger painting and stick figures to designing highly developed creative & artistic works. These same students have met the many challenges of virtual learning that were suddenly thrust upon us all this year. They have continued to create wonderfully imaginative and impressive artworks while meeting or exceeding grade level learning standards in the Visual Arts. I am so grateful that I am their art teacher and so thankful to the school community , as a whole, for continuing to support the Art program at NCS! In conclusion, I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Ms. Goerner!! If it were not for her help and support in creation of this exhibition of student work, it might not have been possible. MANY THANKS!!!
