Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) M. Scott Hunter, US Army Retired

Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Scott Hunter, US Army Retired, is the Senior Army Instructor of the US Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Program at Newberry High School in Newberry, South Carolina. The Newberry County School District and Newberry High School host the JROTC program and work cooperatively with US Army Cadet Command and the 4^th ROTC Brigade to allow Retired Army Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers the opportunity to teach and mentor young people valuable skills and traits in citizenship, leadership, service, discipline, and values. The JROTC Mission is to “motivate young people to become better citizens.”
