Welcome to speech! Speech is for students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) who are working on

• Articulation (how you say speech sounds)

• Language (understanding and using words)

• Fluency (speaking smoothly)

• Voice (how your voice sounds)

Speech During School Closures

If we move to a virtual instruction model due to rising number of COVID 19 cases or inclement weather, speech therapy will continue via Google Meet in Schoology.

Students receiving speech therapy will:

· Log in to Schoology

· Click on Courses (at the top)

· Click on Speech course (The course will be labeled with the days and time for your child’s session, for example, Mon/Thurs 2:00-2:30)

· Click on the Google Meet link

· Click on the little box with arrow in the top right corner to turn on the video

Currently, your student does NOT have a Speech course in Schoology. However, if we have to move to a virtual learning model due to COVID or inclement weather, the Speech course will be made available for speech sessions to continue.
