About me

I will be teaching American Government and Modern World History this year. I am available for tutoring and to make up work/quizzes/tests during FLEX time. You can get in touch with me most quickly through email, but can also call. I will be using this site throughout the year to post due dates, notes, and assignments.

I am a longtime resident of Pomaria, SC, where I was born and raised. I graduated from Mid-Carolina High School in 2002 and attended Clemson University where I majored in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and Geography. I graduated from Clemson in 2006 (GO TIGERS!) and returned home where I was hired here at Newberry High School.

The 2021-2022 school year will be my 16th year here at NHS and I am proud to call it home. GO DOGS!

I am currently enjoying raising my two children, Emma (8) and Connor (5) with my husband of 11 years, Hal - a Newberry High School graduate.
