Suggested Packing List for the 2017 D.C Trip

Students are solely responsible for any and all items they bring to the trip. The school nor the chaperones can be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

  • 1 pair of pants (or wear them on the flight to D.C)
  • 5 pairs of shorts
  • 5 t-shirts
  • 5+ Undergarments
  • 5+ Socks
  • 1 sweatshirt or very light jacket
  • 1 outfit for the dinner cruise (dressy casual-outfit from promotion ceremony is a great idea!)
  • 2 very comfortable shoes
  • Pj's
  • Bathing suit
  • Hats for those that burn easily
  • Deodorant
  • Hair and beauty products
  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Limit the use of fragrant items you use (more isn’t always better)

*Do not bring nail polish or remover-they often explode from the pressure in the airplane.

Personal Items:

  • Sun block-It is going to be super sunny while in D.C and we spend a lot of time outdoors
  • Spending money or a cash card (parents may want to consider having their child's chaperone hold it for safekeeping)
  • Refillable water bottle (dehydration could be a major problem in the hot and humid weather.
  • Ziplock bags to put wet clothes in to cut down on mildew and smell

Other Suggestion (All at your own risk)

  • Backpack for personal items while on the plane and carry around in D.C while on tours.
