All meals will be freshly prepared in the kitchen and safely packaged in containers with lids.

Meal Prices

There is now a Grab N Go Breakfast option that is available to both students and staff. Students will just need to stop by the cafeteria and grab a breakfast bag, go through the cashier, and head to their classroom. All items are wrapped and are easy to consume with minimal mess. Students should place all their back in their sack and throw it in the trash can. For students and staff wishing to continue to eat hot breakfast in the cafeteria, that option will still be available.

Some Grab N Go Lunch options are available for both students and staff. These options vary per building, so check with your Food Service staff.

MO Beef for MO Kids Partnership

The Missouri Department of Agriculture in collaboration with the Missouri Beef Industry Council have developed the MO Beef for MO Kids project to place in select Missouri schools. This project will not only benefit the health of the students but also help in agriculture education. The program started 2017-2018 and was piloted in the Mt. Vernon School District. OPAA will pay the cost of the beef processing. We currently use approximately 3,350 pounds of beef a year by OPAA. We would now be able to provide over 6,700 pounds of beef for our students and staff.
