December 15th: AI Carnival

At this station we explored a variety of AI tools and a resource that included:

• Chat GPT 

• Bard 

• Canva Magic AI 

• MagicSchool 

• aiEDU 

• Diffit 

• Pi

Can you spot the edited version? 

Go fishing to make a match and then determine which which was the original and which was edited by Canva Magic AI! 

Can you determine what is true vs made up? 

Under each duck is an image or statement, determine if they are true or false/real or fake. All of the text was AI generated which includes some "hallucinations"! 

Does AI know everything? 

Craft a variety of prompts to see if you can stump AI! 

How much have you used AI today? 

Think about how you have used technology today, has AI been involved? 

Practice different skills using Chat GPT as a Simulator

The device was preloaded with a situation related to a classroom observation. 

GPT gave feedback and ideas based on how you responded to the situation it created for you. 

Did you “Escape” the digital Escape Room? 

AI can be used to create digital escape rooms as a way to practice critical thinking and specific skills.  

Who Wrote It, Human or Bot?

Are you concerned that students might ask ChatGPT to do their assignments for them?  As you play this game, read the examples and see if you can tell who wrote them!

Is AI distorting your perception of reality? 

As you walk past the mirrors, reflect on the different ways AI might be impacting how YOU perceive the world!

Just like Jenga, AI in education is a balancing act too! 

AI can be a valuable tool, but its implementation requires careful consideration.  As you use the Jenga pieces to build your tower, read their messages and consider how you will commit to maintaining balance as you integrate AI technology into teaching and learning.
