Our main focus this session will be on reading and writing about Nepali festivals, culture, food, and places. Session will conclude with a final day cultural program.
Eventful day for Nepali School kids. Class proceded with regular yoga and meditation followed by Nepali and US national anthem. Kids recited nepali poem. Our community member Sushil Singh presented the kids about Nepali festival Chhath Puja. He shared that Chhath Puja is a Hindu festival to worship god Surya and his sister, Chhathi Maiya, to seek blessings and express gratitude. This festival promotes culture of environmental consciousness by connecting to nature.
