November 2nd- NHS Show Choir Festival
February 14-15th- THE SHO (NHS Show Choir Invitational)
Here is a list of items students will be responsible for providing:
Costumes will remain at school until the last performance, but students may take their undergarments home to wash. Washing will also be done at school as needed. Students are responsible for proper care of their costumes as most are custom and cannot be replaced.
Alterations will also be taken care of at school as needed, but we always welcome help!
Girls will need to purchase or provide for themselves:
-All makeup except lipstick and eyeshadow. This includes false eyelashes unless a student has lash extensions and gets approval from Mrs. Soule. This applies to all performances.
-Proper undergarments that do not show when wearing their costume. Bras must match their skin tone. All girls will need to bring nude leos to keep in their garment bag, but at least one pair of tights will be provided.
-Girls may have their nails done during the competition season as long as they do not clash with either costume. This only applies to the competition season in January & February.
-Earrings will be provided and no other jewelry is to be worn unless approved by Mrs. Soule. Some additional ear or nose piercings may be approved as long as the jewelry is small.
Guys will need to provide for themselves:
-Black compression shorts
-White tank-top undershirt (a-shirts). We recommend buying a pack and putting them all in your garment bag so you have extras when you need to wash what you have worn.
-Socks are being provided as part of their costume, but since they are think we are recommending that students wear a pair of ankle socks under their costume socks.
-Hair must be cut or styled in a way so that we can see your eyebrows and full facial expression when performing
-Guys must be clean shaven unless they have well-trimmed facial hair approved by Mrs. Soule
-We do not require stage makeup for the guys in show choir.
-No jewelry may be worn
