Intervention Program

Welcome to the Lakeview Middle School Intervention website! Our staff is passionate about providing additional support to our students!

Mrs. Gibson

My teaching career started in September of 2002 with the Trumbull County Education Service Center -housed at Joseph Badger. I was hired by Lakeview School District in August of 2005. I began teaching as 5th grade Intervention Specialist at Cortland Elementary, and then transferred to the middle school when that building closed. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education (7-12) from the University of Las Vegas Nevada and a Master of Education degree as an Intervention Specialist (K-12) from Kent State University.

My family currently lives in Bazetta Township. I have a husband, four daughters, and a dog named Luke. My husband and I are both Lakeview graduates, and all of our children either attend or have graduated from Lakeview Schools. I enjoy spending time with my family. I am an avid reader and love to travel.

Our students come from a wide array of backgrounds and ability levels. I enjoy working with the students and getting to know their unique personalities and learning styles. My goal is for every student to experience their own successful year. I am grateful to be part of such a terrific school district and community. I look forward to many more years of teaching!

Miss Krygowski

I graduated from Ohio University in 2009 with my bachelors degree in Marketing. After graduation, I began substitute teaching at Lakeview Middle School and feel in love with being in the classroom. In 2011 I went back to school and earned my a K-12 license and Masters degree in Special Education through Notre Dame in Cleveland Ohio. I was hired at Lakeview Middle School in 2013, and I am currently working with 6th grade students in all subject areas. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking and being active outside. There is so much to look forward to this school year and I think that with all of us working together we can make this a very positive experience. I look forward to working with you and your child to ensure a successful school year!

Mr. Wonders

I'm a lifelong resident of NE Ohio and really enjoy the various opportunities our unique ecosystem offers for outdoor activities. I love to camp, fish, hunt, and generally be outdoors. I am also a classically trained musician! While my main instrument is trombone, I caught the music bug early in life and have played in various bands and love to perform. Beside music and outdoor pursuits, I love coaching! I coach my children's competitive soccer team and the Warren Middle School swim team. Both, like teaching, are challenging, but rewarding pursuits!

Along with this, I pack my schedule tightly with working on the Garrett Wonders memorial fund (in memory of my brother) and as President of the Warren Olympic Club swim and tennis club. There are very few "free nights" in the Wonders' household!

I graduated from Warren Harding in 1993 and started my teaching career in Warren City Schools. For the last 10 years I have taught special education there at various grade levels, but primarily with a focus on students with emotional disturbances. I am a proud alumni of Bowling Green State University and Youngstown State.

I have been happily married to my wife for 14 years. She is also a teacher and works with the blind and visually impaired. I am the proud father of a 17 year old senior at TCTC and identical twin 10 year old boys (the twinados!) Swimming dominates our household in the summer and we stay extremely busy regardless of the season.

The climate at LMS is absolutely fabulous. It's always difficult to be the "new kid" (even for teachers!), but the welcoming I've had here is second to none. This makes doing my job exponentially easier and more effective!

My Personal Motto is: "Change isn't good or bad, but what YOU make of it!"
