Patricia Nelson

WELCOME! - "I have always been interested in finding out how things worked. From the transistor radio I took apart at age 6, to my first tech lab class, where I took apart and replaced the parts of the computer (and it worked!). I love learning and sharing all things tech."


Patricia Nelson is always for exciting others about technology.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and her Master of Science degree in Community Health and Health Care Administration from Long Island University in New York. Pat has expertise in the health, legal and not-for profit fields. She has worked with various groups on diversity issues, education, and health care access.

Pat was introduced to computers in the early 1990's, and has loved them ever since. She has taught Computer Services Support to high school students and adults. She served for two years as a Senior Tech with FixIT Tech MN, a project that brings computer repair services to Twin Cities (MN) Metro communities.

She holds a CompTIA A+ certification, a CompTIA Project+ certification, and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. For almost 20 years, she has been the owner and principal of NelsonWorks LLC, partnering with individuals and small/home businesses in the how-to’s of information technology.
