Hi!! I am Mrs. Pyle!
A little about me:
I'm a sixth year teacher.
I live in Bardstown with my husband.
I have a brother and sister.
I am a dog mom to a beautiful aussie/border collie named Lacie who loves to smile. Also, a aussie named Lillie who is a rescue. She loves playing with her toys.
I'm an aunt to 4 wonderful nephews.
My family means the world to me, we do pretty much everything together. And that's how I like to run my classroom, as a family, that means we keep each other going, we inspire, create and keep each other doing our best!
Here are a few things I’d like you to know:
I will strive to help your child appreciate and embrace their own uniqueness.
I have high, yet reachable, expectations for your child. They will come out of this year with more confidence and self-assurance.
Your child’s well-being will always be at the forefront of my mind. I will care for them like they are my own.
In addition to achieving academic excellence, one of my goals is to help your child be better equipped to face life’s challenges with compassion and kindness.
How I teach:
I'm an innovated teacher, I reimagine learning in my classroom. I allow students to to discover the content through play, student led learning and fun. It's truly amazing to see what kids can teach you when they aren't "trying to learn." Kids love to learn, they just might not always like the way that they are learning. Watching students figure out what way works best for them to learn is always a sight to see. It is my job as a teacher to support learning as I monitor students.
Innovative- Supportive and Comforting, Creative & Flexible, Accessible, Student-Centered, and Fearless.
