During this academic year, our high school students have exhibited remarkable interest and proficiency in 3D modeling, evident in their designs of various components and assemblies. These creations are not just a display of their talent in design and modeling; they also hold practical value, being integral to numerous projects and extracurricular activities within the school and our community.

Alexander Middle School request form is open daily, during TechEd classes.  If you are not in TechEd, please contact Mr. Peters by email to submit a special request.

Our middle school students have been exceptionally active in developing a varied collection of 3D models as a part of their daily design projects in Tech Ed.  These community-facing projects showcase their creativity and technical skills. This portfolio includes a range of designs, all of which the students have meticulously crafted from scratch using TinkerCAD. These original creations reflect their understanding of 3D design principles and their ability to translate ideas into tangible models.

The club's successful efforts in this project have also contributed to enhancing the festive atmosphere in our community, bringing joy and a sense of pride to everyone involved.

Humke Elementary School 3D Print Request   (ONLINE)

Our elementary school teachers have shown a notable enthusiasm for utilizing 3D modeling as a tool to enhance their teaching methods. This interest is not just limited to creating visually engaging models; it extends to developing educational aids that can transform abstract concepts into tangible, interactive objects, thereby making learning more accessible and enjoyable for students. By incorporating 3D models into their curriculum, they are able to provide hands-on experiences that facilitate a deeper understanding of various subjects, ranging from science and mathematics to art and history. This innovative approach not only stimulates the students' imagination and curiosity but also caters to different learning styles, ensuring a more inclusive and effective educational experience. Additionally, these teachers are constantly exploring new ways to integrate 3D technology into their classrooms, aiming to keep the learning environment dynamic and aligned with modern educational practices.

Nekoosa School District is #1 in the nation for student-facing digital fabrication resources.  This #1 rating is based on our combined high school & middle school TechEd computer lab capacities (45 students total) and the matching number of high speed BambuLab X1Carbon 3D printers (45 units), assigned 1:1 to those computer workstations.  If any other high school in the USA has more comprehensive offerings to students, please contact us and we will happily concede this title. *
