Amanda Lloyd is a New England native with a passion for forensic science and teaching. She enjoys the opportunity to work with aspiring scientists to help guide them on their forensic science journey. Amanda began her forensic science career in 2013. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic and Investigative Science with an emphasis in Examination from West Virginia University and received her Professional Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from Florida International University. She is currently both a Certified Latent Print Examiner and Certified Crime Scene Analyst for the Worcester Police Department where she specializes in fingerprint processing, examination and crime scene investigation. She is the Technical Manager and the current trainer for the Latent Print Unit and serves as the Forensic Services Internship coordinator. Soon she will be taking her passion of latent prints to the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory where she will begin a new chapter of her career as a Supervising Identification Agent. Amanda is also an adjunct professor for Anna Maria College where she is teaching The Scientific Analysis of Impression Evidence.
