Rehearsal Pick Up

For our rehearsals in January and February we will be done everyday at 4:30 PM. Please plan on having your student walk home or be picked up by 4:35 PM. If your student is late being picked up more than two times then your student will no longer be part of the show. As teachers, we are donating our time for this production. We have other obligations that we need to attend to and we need to be able to leave promptly.

We are so excited for show!

We would like to have a cast meeting on Wednesday, November 29th from 3:30-4:30.

We will pass out scripts, read/sing through the play, pass out important information, and go over expectations for being part of the production.

If you can’t attend the meeting please let Mrs. Jenkins or Mrs. Dimmick know.

***Everyone who auditioned has a part in the production. If your child auditioned and their name is missing off of our cast list please let us know and we will get their names added to the list.***

Audition Information

Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in auditioning for Spanish Oaks presentation of Disney Pixars Finding Nemo Kids for students in 3rd-5th grades. We will be performing the play on March 14th, 15th, and 18th. Please mark your calendars now and plan to be there every night. Practices will mostly be held after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In March practices will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. We need your help to find days that work with our schedule, so please list days that you are unavailable on your audition form.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, November 15th from 3:45-5:00 PM.

Callbacks will be held on Thursday, November 16th from 3:45-5:00 PM.

We will have the cast list posted on the school website by Tuesday, November 21st.

Please come 10 minutes early for your audition time or stay 10 minutes after to work with the Choreographer. During auditions we will ask for you to do three things:

Please come with 30-45 seconds of a Disney song (it can be from any part of the song). You are welcome to bring a device or a speaker if you would like accompaniment. You can sing along with a favorite song. It does not need to be a karaoke track.

Be prepared to read the lines from ONE character. Practice scripts can be picked up in the office on November 6th.

Also, while you are waiting please get a name tag (write your name) and follow/ try to learn the choreography with Mrs. Cilessa. When it is your audition time, you will go in.
