Verifications

In this module, the verification process is explained step-by step.

Verifications are filed in Dossiers and created in the module 'Verifications', on the page 'Step 4-7: Create Dossier'.

Note: in order to "verify requirements" (steps 4 to 7), they first need to go through the "requirements analysis" (steps 1-3).

Create a new dossier by pressing the 'New DOSSIER' button and give it a clear name (a description can also be added).

Assign the responsibility of the Dossier to the required function by selecting in the 'OBS' (Organisation Breakdown Structure) column the appropriate role.

Step 4: Select the Objects & Activities, Interfaces & Risks

After clicking on a dossier on the overview screen (left hand side), the steps 4-7 are shown in the detail view (right hand side of the screen).

In the first tab, the object-requirement- and/or activity-requirement relationships have to be selected. This determines which object-requirement and activity-requirement pairs are going to be verified within the dossier.

In this same step it is possible to select Risks and/or Interfaces that are important in this dossier. Only the risks and interfaces that are linked to selected objects can be selected.

Step 5: Verify the Object-Requirement and Activity-Requirement relationships.

In the next two tabs, the selected object- and activity requirement pairs are checked. When those two steps are successfully processed, you can carry on with step 6.

Step 6: Complete the Verification- / Inspections plans

Fill in the gray columns to complete the verification plan. For each requirement and for each phase select the appropriate verification method (one or several). If necessary, add a clarification then select a responsible person and the executor of the verification/inspection.

If case of an 'inspection' instead of a 'verification', the blue columns have to be filled in (frequency, measurement instrument, ceasing or client Attending point, acceptance criteria, values & tolerances to be observed)

After the verification-/inspectionplan is complete for a specific phase, the information can be frozen by clicking the '>' button in the second last column (outlined in green on the left).

If the verification-/inspectionplan is complete for the requirement as a whole (for all the phases of the requirement), freeze the information by clicking the '>' button in the last column (marked by the green arrow on the left).

Step 7: Complete the Verification- / Inspections reports

Fill in the prescribed verification-/inspection information by adding one or more observations.

An observation has two possible results: 'Complies' or 'Complies not', and will be supported by adding text and/or an evidence product.

If the result is 'complies not', a deviation or risk can be linked to the observation.

The person marked as responsible for the verification/inspection, will fill in the column containing 'Status Observation (Autorization)'.
