In this section is described how the iBIM connector can do a Material Take-Off from Revit to Relatics. Using this feature it is possible to easily transfer all quantities of Revit materials to the corresponding Relatics elements
Click on the "Material Take-Off" button in the ribbon of the "Data-tab", or use the right click menu.
The iBIM connector checks the keynotes of the materials of Revit, and matches them with the material codes in Relatics. Before running the match process, you can filter out one or more categories or families for which you want to extract the materials.
Note: IN ORDER TO EXTRACT MATERIAL QUANTITIES FOR AN INSTANCE IN REVIT, THE INSTANCE NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED TO AN INSTANCE IN RELATICS!
When clicking "OK", the material quantities are added to Relatics.
