I am currently chair of the Department of Mathematics at North Dakota State University.
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under supervision of Harold Diamond in 2003. I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Pacific Institute of the Mathematical Sciences (Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia), and started as an Assistant Professor at NDSU in 2005.
Research
My research deals with problems at the intersection of analytic number theory, classical Fourier analysis, and approximation problems on the real line. I am particularly interested in the Beurling-Selberg extremal problem and its generalizations to weighted versions in the metric of de Branges Hilbert spaces of entire functions.
Teaching
Class notes, homework problems, and deadlines for my current classes are posted on Blackboard
