Started 11 years ago, the Young Women's Engineering Symposium, hosted by FRC Team 1967, has brought together hundreds of attendees with different presenters in their respective fields surrounding STEM, from project managing to structural engineering. The Young Women's Engineering Symposium is an opportunity intended to introduce high school girls to careers in STEM by inviting female engineers from a variety of fields to present their experiences involving discrimination in the workplace, explain what their field of engineering entails, and give professional career advice.
