About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame under the supervision of Prof. Hai Lin and am expected to graduate in May 2024. During the Ph.D. program, I received a Master's degree in the Department of Mathematics in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Qing Han. Before that, I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2015 and 2017, respectively.

My ultimate aspiration is to create autonomous and resilient robotic systems that enhance both human and societal well-being. I currently focus on swarm robots (large population) and continuum/soft robots (infinite degrees of freedom). Their common challenge is scalability. To address that, I pursue modeling and control methodologies based on partial differential equations. In particular, I model these robotic systems using continuum mechanics and design infinite-dimensional feedback control inspired by physics such as diffusion and energy dissipation.
