Daniel Mershon earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Washington State University in 2010. He taught one year of high-school math in Forks, WA, then spent three years teaching middle-school math outside of Seattle. While teaching, he earned a second B.S. in Economics, worked as a volunteer research assistant, and wrote the novel, Erebus Rising (available on Amazon.com). He is currently a PhD student at the University of Notre Dame in the department of economics. His research focuses on international finance and macroeconomics.
