The Expanded Learning Opportunities pathway recognizes that learning can take place in any aspect of a person’s life. Expanded Learning Opportunities include but are not limited to Internships, Extracurricular activities (sports, clubs & theater), independent studies, educational summer camps, Governor’s Institute of Vermont, and more. Opportunities exist to earn credit in a variety of areas. This opportunity is provided for students who have the ability to function independently and who wish to learn about an area that is not offered in the regularly offered courses and programs.
Any student who demonstrates the ability to work independently is in academic good standing and completes their personalized learning plan.
