Community service learning is an educational opportunity that combines learning goals and community service in ways that can enhance both student growth and the common good. It is a teaching and learning strategy that integrates meaningful community service with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen communities.
Any student who demonstrates the ability to work independently is in academic good standing and completes their personalized learning plan.

Students wishing to earn credit through community service learning must submit a proposal to the Flexible Pathways Coordinator prior to starting the experience. Students will reflect on their community service, document, and present their learning after the experience concludes. Ways to present include but are not limited to; video, PowerPoint, games, tri-folds, or poster board.
