"Music brings the soul alive. Music promotes wellness and sound mind."

Welcome to Music!

Preschoolers are delving into pitch and beat through singing, movement, and the help of two special friends. Ask your child about Benji the Frog or Charlie and his slides!

Students in younger grades are learning about music through singing, playing various instruments, movement exploration, pitch exploration, and many music games. 2nd and 3rd graders are beginning to learn to read music and play notes and rhythms written on a page! 3rd graders are applying this new knowledge to recorders, while 4th graders are implementing these skills with ukulele.

5th-8th graders have the opportunity to sign up for music electives. Choices offered during the first trimester include Chorus, Advanced Band, Ukulele, Songwriting, and Musical Movement and Dance.
