About This Project

The Campus Green Havens project are a series of sister projects located around campus. The goal of these locations is to enhance the mental and physical wellness of the NC State community through providing places to interact with pollinator-friendly plants and herbs.  These spaces emphasize an intentional design that incorporates natural elements for the benefit of both the environment and urban population.

This project began in Spring of 2021, and was fully funded by the NCSU Sustainability Fund in Spring of 2022.  The three locations around campus where the community can find these plants include:

Meet the Team

This project has been brought to fuition specifically by the Resource Conservation team of the Stewards, pictured above.

This project was also not possible without the help of the Grounds team at NC State, who takes care of our plants and donated their time and plants to fill the planters.
