About the Competition
In the Name a Tree Competition, students submit potential names for a certain tree on campus, which will then be voted on by the student body. Whoever's name earns the most votes wins, and the tree will officially be unofficially named by the Sustainability Stewards. Whoever comes up with the winning name wins a sustainability t-shirt and a custom-made brick! Will you come up with the next winning name? Will you leave your mark on campus? Will you win pride and a prize? There's only one way to find out...

How to Participate
Submit
April 1 - April 14, the window to submit names for the tree will open, and you will have the opportunity to put your name in the running for the competition
April 14-16 - Names will be sorted into a bracket
Vote
April 16 - First Round of voting takes place and the winners will advance to the next round
Vote
April 17 - Final Round of voting takes place and the winners will advance to the next and final round
Winner Announced
April 22 - Earth Day! The winning name will be announced! Prize will be given at tree ceremony!
