Lily Shaeffer named 2023 4-H'er of The Year

At the 2024 4-H Achievement Night Lily Shaeffer was named the 4-H'er of the year for her 2023 accomplishments. Lily Showed a sheep, goat, chickens, Turkeys and Horses. She also submitted BBQ sauce, Canned Greensbeans and a woodworking project to the NC State Fair.

"This 4-H’er is a jack of all trades and a master of all them, she is hardworking, dedicated, always shows up with a smile and always helps her fellow 4-H’ers be the best they can be. In 2023, she showed horses, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, shot archery, and cooked, canned and woodwork. She never missed a county council meeting and completed various service projects with her club. When you think of what a 4-H’er is meant to be, her picture comes to mind. At this time I am so proud to present Lily Shaeffer with the 2023 4-H’er of the year award."
