Some take aways are:
Check your refrigerator temperature. It should be below 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use age of the food, appearance, and smell to determine if food should be thrown out.
Do not keep leftovers for more than 3-4 days. (USDA and CDC)
Maintain proper refrigeration storage temperatures to extend shelf-life of food.
Refrigerate left over food within 2 hours.
